My Story

I was diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E) in my early teens. I was housebound and in a wheelchair for several years due to the severity of my chronic illness.

Both Music and Homeopathy helped massively along the long road to recovery. I went from being told that I potentially may not walk again to living a very full life facilitating theraputic music sessions and practising homeopathy . I am also able to expand my horizion further to what I or anyone else thought was possible by potentially starting studying a BA course in counselling.

I was learning how to play the piano before I got ill and was working up to my grade 8. I loved my piano teacher and really wanted to keep playing. But to play the piano with Chronic Fatigue looked very different! I built up from only playing a few minutes a day and increasing it by a few minutes each time.

I first tried Homeopathy because conventional medicine was not touching the severity of pain I was in on a daily basis. It got to the point that no one could really ever sit on the same couch as me and my days were a constant choice of whether I ate that day or I showered as it could rarely be both.
